NCSEA Congratulates Mr. Scott M. Lekan on Appointment as Dept. of Health & Human Services’ Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) Commissioner
MCLEAN, VA – The National Child Support Enforcement Association (NCSEA) extends its congratulations to NCSEA member Scott M. Lekan, who was today appointed Commissioner of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services’ (HHS) Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE). Mr. Lekan assumes the Commissioner’s office from Acting Commissioner Donna Bonar.
“On behalf of NCSEA, I want to congratulate Scott Lekan for his appointment as OCSE Commissioner,” stated Joe Mamlin, 2016-2017 NCSEA President. “As an NCSEA member and former IV-D program director for the state of Arizona, Mr. Lekan has proven to be a tremendous advocate for the child support program, using his knowledge from both public and private sector service to help strengthen the benefits our program provides to the children and parents we serve. Mr. Lekan’s expertise, as well as his desire to help shape the IV-D program for the future, will prove beneficial to NCSEA’s members and the child support community as a whole.”
