This session will be a discussion on what states are doing to train their newly hired child support staff and some of the best practices for training. New staff may not be versed in child support; however, they bring skills to the table that are not necessarily child support related i.e. case management, outreach, or customer service. We will discuss how to get these folks up to speed as quickly as possible, but still be trained on child support policies, laws, guidelines, systems, terminology, etc.
