Management Analyst, New Mexico Department of Human Services

Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico

This position will assist with all areas of initiation, planning, budgeting, developing requests for proposals, project management, documentation of requirements, implementation, and testing of a proposed enhancement/replacement of the current system. This position provides functional and limited technical assistance (Help Desk Support) to authorized users of the New Mexico Child Support Enforcement Automated Case Management System (CSES). The CSES Help Desk receives requests for assistance by e-mail, phone, fax, or in-person.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a library on Child Support System Requirements for State Systems
  • Be an integral part of a team involved in the process of Data Cleanup
  • Document business process workflows with business users in CSED via Flowchart Document creation with MS Visio
  • Assist in creating (RFP) Request For Proposals
  • Act as point of contact to other states in reviewing system candidates for transfer or hybrid solutions for a CSES Replacement system
  • Assist with the development of the (PAPD) Planning Advance Planning Document:  Formatting, developing tables, graphics,  and content development
  • Web development via SharePoint
  • Apply critical thinking, logic, and reasoning in the preparation of business requirements needed for the replacement of the CSES system.
  • Develop and maintain a content management site on the MS SharePoint platform
  • Work as part of a large team in CSES Replacement
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite
  • Work with various databases to obtain information

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration
  • two (2) years of experience in the procedures of business and management principles involved in strategic planning
  • Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) years may substitute for the required education and experience
