Tales from the Trenches: A Call for Stories from the Front Lines

Tell us your “Tales From The Trenches!”

NCSEA is currently seeking written perspectives from front line child support professionals who describe their success stories and experiences.  We’d like to get perspectives from front line IV-D workers for publication in our next Child Support CommuniQue, NCSEA’s members-only newsletter.

Is your County/State working on a cutting edge new project that’s increasing production or collection? What motivates you to do the work you do? Do you have a heartwarming tale that will make us proud and glad we are in our chosen occupations? Send us your stories! Pick a topic. It can be a story about one particular success in establishment, paternity, modification, or enforcement, or a story with a series of success chronicles from within your agency. The article should be approximately 1200 words in length.

Please tell us where you work, the type of work you do, and the impact it has had on children and families in your area.

Please submit any articles and your photo to Hannah Andrews, NCSEA Manager of Association Services, HannahAndrews@ncsea.org and include an email address and phone number where you can be reached.

If you have questions about writing the article or about what might be an acceptable topic, feel free to contact Hannah prior to your submission. You never know—you may wind up a published author in a national child support forum!
