The Program Awareness Award recognizes an individual or organization that has developed an innovative, effective strategy to increase public awareness of the child support program and how child support enhances the well-being of children and families.
Through the creation of a Regional Agency including three different counties, this year’s program award awareness recipient was thoughtful in creating an agency and brand that is reflective of their individual counties, communities, and culture. They were intentional in the development of the Agency logo, by pulling colors from each of the County seals.
With a multi-pronged pronged approach including a new website, promotional videos shared through broadcast television and various social media outlets, the launch of this new agency and program resulted in a 21% increase in stipulation rate demonstrating the increased engagement of parents actively participating in the child support process.
This year’s NCSEA Program Awareness Award is presented to the
CSY Program Awareness and Child Support Enrollment Project created and implemented by the Colusa Sutter Yolo Regional Child Support Agency
