The 2013 Web-Talk programming includes six CLE programs, and a new feature — a series of Web-Talks providing important Management and Skills training.
The Management and Skills Series Web-Talks are scheduled throughout the year, and can be attended individually, or as part of the series. Details on the two tracks are listed below. Contact Ann Marie Ruskin for further details.
Management Series:
This series of three Web-Talks will focus on the organizational and administrative challenges facing IV-D agencies. Topics to be addressed will include issues related to staff resources, workflow assignment, workplace processes, strategic and leadership development. This series will be of particular interest to administrators, managers and supervisors. Although a series is being presented, each topic will be addressed independently; participants are welcome to register for any one or all of the series.
The materials for each Web-Talk will include a Discussion Guide, to facilitate a post-Web-Talk discussion among agency participants about how the topics apply in your workplace.
Attendees who participate in all Web-Talks in the Management Series (Live event only) will receive a “Certificate of Completion” from NCSEA pending confirmation of attendance.
Skills Series:
This series of four Web-Talks will focus on core workplace skills. Topics to be addressed will include issues related to client interviewing, communications and presentations, and writing skills, as well as key concepts and tools that should be familiar to all CSE workers. This series is targeted for both front line workers and managerial staff.
The materials for each topic in the series will include a Discussion Guide, to facilitate a post-Web-Talk discussion among agency participants about how each skill applies in their workplace. Although a series is being presented, each topic will be addressed independently; participants are welcome to register for any one or all of the series.
Attendees who participate in all Web-Talks in the Skills Series (Live Event only) will receive a “Certificate of Completion” from NCSEA pending confirmation of attendance.
